As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, the process for updating your mobile number in Aadhaar might have changed. However, as of that time, here’s a general guide on how you can update your mobile number in Aadhaar:

1. Visit Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Centre:

  • Locate the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Centre. You can locate the closest center by visiting the official UIDAI website.

2. Fill the Aadhaar Update Form:

  • Obtain the Aadhaar Update Form from the center or download it from the official UIDAI website. You can fill the form offline or online, depending on the facility available.

3. Submit the Form:

  • Submit the filled form along with the supporting documents to the Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Centre. Make sure to provide your current mobile number in the form.

4. Biometric Authentication:

  • Your biometrics (fingerprints and iris scan) will be authenticated at the Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Centre.

5. Receive Acknowledgment Slip:

  • After the successful submission, you will receive an acknowledgment slip containing the Update Request Number (URN). This URN can be used to track the status of your update request.

6. Update through Aadhaar Website:

  • You can also update your mobile number online through the official UIDAI website (https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/update). To do this, you will need your Aadhaar number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

7. Check Update Status:

  • You can check the status of your update request online using the URN provided in the acknowledgment slip.

Remember that the information and procedures may have changed after my last update, so it’s advisable to visit the official UIDAI website or contact their helpline for the most recent and accurate information. Keep your Aadhaar details secure, and be cautious of fraudulent activities related to Aadhaar updates
